4 pounds asparagus, trimmed and peeled
2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Toss asparagus, butter, salt and pepper on a jellyroll pan, arrange in a single layer.
Roast 15 to 18 minutes until tender.
